Medicare Certified Skilled Unit

Sometimes after a person has a surgery, a fall, or maybe just an overall decline in health they need a little boost to get them back to their prior level of functioning. Well this is where The Gardens of Richardson’s Rehabilitation Team shines. Here at the Gardens our Board Certified Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, along with our Nursing Team work together to create a customized rehabilitation plan specific to the person’s needs while communicating frequently with family along the way to discuss progress and to promote a positive experience. We have countless success stories of where people have benefited so greatly from our Therapy Services that they were able to move out of our community back to home feeling stronger and more self-reliant. Our goal with Short Term Rehabilitation is to get you or your loved one back to living life to the fullest.

We have both Private and Semi-Private Medicare Suites available. All Medicare suites have their own bathrooms and TVs equipped with cable at no extra charge.

The Gardens of Richardson is a licensed Medicare provider. To qualify for Medicare’s Skilled Nursing benefit the following must be met:

• Individual was admitted to an acute care hospital for at least 3 midnights
• Must be admitted within 30 days of the discharge from the hospital or other Skilled Nursing Facility
• The care and condition must require inpatient services, such as nursing, rehabilitation or both for treatment related to the original hospitalized condition
